Originally we produced all of our sunglasses in the United States. Due to demand we've begun outsourcing the production of certain models. Models produced in the U.S. will be called out on the product page.
Great question! The answer is that some do and some don't depending on the materials used. We will typically call this out on the product page for the particular model though if they do. Typical rule of thumb is that if they are solid bamboo or wood they will. Acetate and Titanium are typically heavier materials and will not always float.
That is our goal. Every pair we offer today are in fact polarized although we may in the future offer non-polarized options as well. For most people polarized are a great option but there are certain scenarios like working on laptops and phones where polarized lenses can distort your view of the screen. For the majority of situations however, the UV protection and glare reducing aspects of polarized lenses are too important to pass on.
This is our term for our built in accidental coverage of every pair of sunglasses we sell on rusticabandon.com. To put it simply, if you break or lose your sunglasses we will replace them at 25% of the MSRP of the original pair. IE. You pay $100 dollars for your pair of sunglasses and lose them 10 months later. We will replace them for $25 dollars, no questions asked. Simply email support and let us know what happened. We don't need proof, we don't care, we'll take your word for it. Then we'll give you a code for 75% off and you'll have a new pair of sunglasses within a day or two. Simple.
Our logo? Maybe we just like goats, big woop, wanna fight about it?
Seriously though, goats are the embodiment of rugged determination. Sturdy, strong and in the right light majestic, we couldn't think of a better mascot.
Rustic Abandon accepts a wide range of payment types as listed at the bottom of the site. The major options used are Paypal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay and most major credit and debit cards.
As much as we hate the term, its a "play on words". Its a fusion of the phrase "reckless abandon" and the word Rustic which is our favorite aesthetic. The overall meaning is simply an unbridled and unrestrained love of nature and the rustic countryside.
